Who We Are

GTAVIing ("we", "us", "our") operates the website gtaviing.online, an independent GTA 6 fan intelligence platform. We are not affiliated with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. For privacy inquiries: privacy@gtaviing.online

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly and information generated through your use of the platform:

• Account data: Email address and password (hashed) when you create an account.
• Launch list data: Email address if you join our GTA VI launch-day notification list.
• Usage data: Query count and last reset timestamp to enforce daily limits.
• Conversation data: Messages you send to The Fixer AI, stored per conversation for the purpose of showing your chat history. See "Data Retention" below for exact deletion timing.
• Technical data: Browser fingerprint (a randomly generated identifier stored in your browser) and IP address, used solely for guest rate limiting.
• Payment data: If you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies: stripe.com/privacy

How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To enforce daily query limits (free tier: 5 queries/day, guest: 1 query)
• To provide The Fixer AI service, including sending your queries to our AI provider (Groq) and web search provider (Tavily) for processing
• To process subscription payments via Stripe
• To send service-related emails (account confirmation, subscription updates)
• To improve the platform based on usage patterns

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting (EU/US data centres). Privacy policy
• Groq — AI inference (your Fixer AI queries are processed by Groq's servers). Privacy policy
• Tavily — web search for AI-grounded responses. Privacy policy
• Stripe — payment processing. Privacy policy
• Vercel — hosting and serverless functions. Privacy policy
• Amazon Associates — pre-order links on GTAVIing may be affiliate links. Amazon may use cookies to track referrals. Amazon Associates policy

Data Retention

• Account data: retained while your account is active. Delete your account to remove it.
• Conversation history with The Fixer AI: automatically and permanently deleted every hour by an automated background job once it is older than 24 hours. After 24 hours, we have no record of what you asked The Fixer or what it replied.
• Guest fingerprints and IP addresses: automatically deleted after 48 hours by the same automated process.
• Waitlist emails: retained until launch notification is sent, or until you request deletion, whichever comes first.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data.
• Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.
• Objection: Object to processing of your data for marketing.

Australian Privacy Act

We comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). If you are located in Australia and believe your privacy rights have been breached, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

GDPR (EU/UK Visitors)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have additional rights under the GDPR. Our legal basis for processing is: contract performance (account and subscription management), legitimate interests (platform security and rate limiting), and consent (waitlist emails). You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. We use browser localStorage to store your session token and a rate-limiting fingerprint. These are functional and necessary for the platform to operate. They are not used for advertising.

Children

GTAVIing is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at privacy@gtaviing.online.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
